Grand Cities Pickleball Club is excited to host the 2026 Winter Slam Tournament at PlayIT! Pickleball in Grand Forks, ND on December 12-13, 2026.
Saturday, December 12th: Men’s & Women’s Doubles
Sunday, December 13th: Mixed Doubles
Before registering, please review the following information.

Divisions: each division is limited to 8 teams. Players must be at least 14 years old to compete.
> Men’s Doubles: 3.0-3.49 / 3.5-3.99 / 4.0+
> Women’s Doubles: 3.0-3.49 / 3.5-3.99 / 4.0+
> Mixed Doubles: 3.0-3.49 / 3.5-3.99 / 4.0+
Format:
> Round Robin: Games to 11, win by 1
> Bracket Play: double-elimination
Winner's Bracket - best of 3 (games to 11, win by 2)
Loser's Bracket - Games to 15, win by 2
This is a non-DUPR tournament.

PlayIT! Pickleball (2767 32nd Ave S)
This is an indoor tournament, and players will compete on our six permanent courts with two additional multi-purpose courts for warming up. The club will provide Life Time LT Pro 48 pickleballs. Players must use paddles approved by UPA or USA Pickleball.

Tournaments fees will be made during player check-in on the day of your event. Payment options include cash, check, Venmo, and Squarespace (using a credit/debit card or Apple/Google pay). Please note, we will not have change for cash payments, and there’s no ATM onsite.
We are not requiring teams to pay in advance to avoid coordinating potential refunds. However, please review the withdrawal tab below about cancellations and no shows.

Players must check-in no later than 15 minutes before their division starts.
On Thursday, December 10th, all players will be notified their division’s start time via email along with some additional player information.

Since only completed teams may register, if you’re interested in playing but don’t have a partner, we can certainly try to help you out. Please send us an email (grandcitiespickleball@gmail.com) with your name and which division you’d like to compete in, and we’ll do our best to find you a partner.

> We completely understand schedules change for a variety of reasons, and ask that if at any point you must withdraw, please email tournament director Kyle (grandcitiespickleball@gmail.com) immediately to allow waitlisted teams to compete.
> Teams which have registered and no show without any communication may impact those players’ eligibility to compete in future GCPC tournaments.
Registration
Only one player from a completed team (two players who will play together) will register on behalf of their team—meaning, the other player will not submit an additional registration form.
To register:
Find your division below and click “Add to Cart” (only select “1” as the quantity).
Fill out the form with both players’ names, email addresses, & phone numbers.
Click “Add to Cart” one more time.
Scroll to the top of the page and click the shopping cart icon.
Click “Checkout” to finish registering. Note, you will not submit any payments upon checkout.
Upon completion, the partner submitting the registration form will receive an email confirmation.

Waitlist: if your division is “out of stock” or “unavailable,” this means it’s full. But we encourage you to join the waitlist by completing the following form. Please remember to finish checking out to submit your form.
Both players will be notified via email if they are moved off the waitlist.
