Our story

The Grand Cities Pickleball Club was established in 2018. We are a group of enthusiastic pickleball players located in Grand Forks, ND and East Grand Forks, MN.

This club is for all skill levels and warmly welcome new players and provide coaching and support. We host several tournaments a year, including the Spring (April/May), Summer (July/August), and Fall (November/December).

Since 2018, our club membership has grown each year; in 2024, our membership grew to the largest in the history of the club with more than 290 members.

Accomplishments

Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the U.S., and we are thankful for the community support! Over the past 5 years, the Grand Cities Pickleball Club has worked with local city governments and parks and recreation departments to help accomplish the following:

• Court resurfacing at O’Leary Park, EGF, 8 outdoor courts (June 2021)

• Court resurfacing at Optimist Park, GF, 6 outdoor courts (June 2023)

• Court resurfacing at Abbott Complex, GF, 6 outdoor courts (June 2024)

• Indoor pickleball facility at PlayIT!, GF, 6 indoor courts (April 2025)

These facilities provide a wonderful way to promote a fun and an active lifestyle in our community.
