Join the Grand Cities Pickleball Club for our Round-Robin Fall Tournament!
**REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 11:59PM on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14TH**
About the Tournament: For this tournament, players will register individually in their appropriate self-rated doubles division and play in a round-robin format with a new partner each game, meaning no players will register as a pair/team.
Divisions include: men's 3.0, women's 3.0, men's 3.5, women's 3.5+, and men's 4.0. Anticipating numbers and to best facilitate this format, men's and women's 3.0 will be capped at 12 players, and all other divisions at 8 players. A waitlist will be available, and the club will monitor registration numbers and adjust the maximum number of players, if needed. In a single division, a minimum of four players must register, and divisions may be combined if there aren't enough participants. Players must be at least 14 years old to participate.
Final rankings will be determined by total games won, and in the event of a tie, overall total points determine the final position(s). This is a non-DUPR tournament.
Players will be emailed on Thursday, October 15th with more information and their division start time. Players will be required to check-in no later than 10 minutes before their division starts.
Facility: This is an indoor tournament, and players will compete on our six permanent courts with two additional multi-purpose courts for warming up. The club will provide Life Time LT Pro 48 pickleballs.
Registration Fee: $10 for current PlayIT! monthly members or $30 for non-current PlayIT! monthly members.
Payments: Cash, Check (payable to: Grand Cities Pickleball Club), or Venmo (account name: grandcitiespickleball1). All payments can be made before or at the tournament.
Pizza Party: At 5:00pm, GCPC will host a post-tournament pizza party. Players and their family/friends are encouraged to attend. RSVP closes at 9:00pm on Wednesday, October 14th.
